Wow! Otakon 08 was by FAR the most fun that I have had in the past 3 years of attending xD!
My Pedo Bear was an INSTANT celebrity once we showed up! My friend, Christian, reaaally fit the role of the character; in a suitable manner, mind you!! He had blogs, stories, messages, forum posts, pictures thrown all over different webpages the first NIGHT! I was getting pictures taken of me just because I created it xD! Great, can't wait to see what LoL's 4channers will get from those images of me >.< I will gather as many pedo bear related images/links as I can find and post them for you folks. Do a search for yourself and see what pops up =3! Just leave the links here in this journal! I want to see all reactions to this monster that I have created. I also have a TON of pictures that you can download off my Deviant Art Page *3 packages* Over the entire weekend I took over 400 pictures, so I had to narrow it down to just the most interesting, enjoy :3!!

[link]Did I mention that the con was awesome? We arrived to our hotel right around check in, we got our badges and hung out for the night. I met a ton of awesome people in the artists/dealers room that would like to keep in touch with me, so far I've heard back from a few of them. I chatted and had my DS light signed/doodled on by VG cats artist, Scott. He is an absolute sweet heart! Omg he is beyond awesome. It was such an honor meeting/chatting with him.
Friday-sunday is simply recognized as thunder dome. I am sorry! For the few of you who tried to find me and only found Pedo Bear chasing his girls D= He was playing messenger and told me I was trying to be found, lol I was supposed to be around him for most of the con, but this was his first convention and he just went off on his own chasing the girls, I couldn't keep up x3. I would have loved to see a few faces that hind behind those avatars. So again, I am sorry for that.
My group of friends and I were hanging outside of rooms 310 and 316 and the outside balcony starting our own dance parties with Cy9ez LSDJ gameboy music

[link] We basically refused to go to the raves simply because of the BO smog and kids throwing up everywhere... ew.
One of my friends was an Otakon-fugitive; all of security was looking for him x3 He ran from the issue and is still an Otakon-fugitive xD! We all were ALMOST in the same boat. Basically we were given the OKAY to have our 'dance' party in the hallway because of the chaos that was going on in the Otakon rave/dance area. We were GIVEN THE OKAY BY ONE OF THE WOMEN IN CHARGE OF THE ENTIRE OTAKON CONVENTION HERSELF. Now some muscle-dummy with a 'staff shirt' on happened to walk by immediately after her and gave us problems, he told us to pack our stuff and follow him. We tried saving him the embarrassment he would face from his higher-up by telling him it was okay that we were here, but that only pissed him off, oops. We tried telling him he had a headset on his head, could he please just contact her so we wouldn't have to move? He got even more pissed off. I guess those headset don't work x3 The dance-party broke up and I turned on my video camera and started video-recording the entirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre ordeal, sneeky sneeky. We were taken away to one of the offices to talk with THE WOMAN THAT GAVE US THE OKAY x3 she basically told the muscle dummy-staff to relax, and next time call her on the head set xD!!! So we went back to our business dancing and such.
My boyfriend and I sold all of our shirts, thank you folks for buying them! That was our food money for the weekend =3! I have a full tummy now. Take a look at what we will be offering again, shortly it will be updated with more designs, but today we are still recovering from the con:
[link]I saw a few great cosplayers; but not as many as I saw last year D= whats wrong people?! I have read a few articles discussing how few elaborate cosplays there were this year, so it is not just MY observation.

Our neighbors were party animals D= but they were toooooo big of party animals, we had to hide from them sometimes xD that is not always easy.
We took the LAST blanket the hotel had. A hotel that has 12 floors!! and who knows how many rooms! So if you froze that night, blame me x3

Saw someone get the crap beaten out of him. I don't really know what happened, but he was looking preeeeettty darn drunk, and causing a riot in the street, so 3 guys pulled up to him in a car, beat him, then left.... >>?
Pedo Bear was worshiped by a baltimore-bum. He got on his knees and bowed >.<!!! what!?
The guys selling water outside the con really do love us x3 every time a group of cosplayers walked by they would so discreetly holler “$1 bottle-water” along with colorful profanities x3
I WILL have a table in the artists room next year :3 I'll keep ya posted.
The final question of my Otakon weekend that has yet to be answered is... so many people familiarize themselves with Pedo Bear. I have heard so many people scream things related to, “
EDO BEAR YOUR MY HERO!!!” What does this mean? WHY is he your hero exactly? Keep in mind, Pedo Bear = Pedophile Bear.
